On Christmas Day I brought my mother to Atherton Place memory care unit so she could sing Christmas songs for our seniors. We had put together gift bags for everyone before coming and in Margaret's I put a pair of Christmas socks. They were pink and looked like peppermint candy. When she opened her gift she was so excited about those socks that she had to put them on right then. She was smiling from ear to ear and dancing with those new socks on. We danced together, laughed and had a wonderful time that day. I will never forget Margaret's wonderful smile and her way to bring joy to the day.
